Given is the bar chart that compares the mediocre house costs in five various cities in 1990 and 2002 to the figures recorded in 1989.
To begin with, from 1990 to 1995, prices went up only in Madrid and Frankfurt, to be more specific, Frankfurt showed slightly greater increase than Madrid (2.5% vs. 2%). On the other hand, while the rest of cities experienced downward trend in terms of required money to buy houses, the smallest downfall belonged to New York (5%) and both In Tokyo and in London, accommodation prices went down by 1.25%.
Moreover, from that time on until 2002, prices rose in all cities except for Tokyo, who experienced marginal drop by 1%. Most remarkable value changes occurred in London, where figures rocketed by 24% together with New York indicating rise which was equal to 10%. Whereas, although percentages went up in Madrid (2%) and Tokyo (2.5%), those changes were almost undetectable juxtaposed to the other ones.
To conclude, at the end of given time period, average price figures for houses surged in all countries apart from Tokyo in comparison with the initial indicators.
