In the past, most people lived in small villages where everyone knew everyone else. Nowdays, people live in large cities where they only know a few people in their area. What do you think were the advantages and disadvantages of living in a small communit

The most people in large cities are not the same experiences as in the past because they only know a few people in their area. In the past, there were advantages and disadvantages of living in small villages where everyone knew everyone else.

There were the advantages of living in small villages. First, they were closer to their neighbors because they were always met and spoken each other. Second, they were more responsible and help each other, for example if one of inhabitant has an event like the wedding, the others were ready to help for the event. Third, their children got more attention from their parents because these days, children like to play with their friends in the place that cannot control by their parents like rent of plays station or internet area. In the past, the children could play with traditional toys or just around the neighborhood.

On the other hand, there were disadvantages of living in small villages. First, their children would not get proper education and health because that was hard to find qualified teacher, and the facilities for school and hospital did not complete yet. Second, they were would be left behind in technology because the access for technology to enter the small villages was hard.

In a nutshell, there are clear advantages and disadvantages to the way people lived in a small villages in the past. I would like to live in a large cities but I know some people who live in small villages have done this and they are perfectly happy where everyone knew everyone else.
