The bar chart indicates the changing of average house price within five countries between 1990 and 1995 and also those details are compared with the figure for the year 1996 to 2002. Only Tokyo witnessed a continuously decrease of average house price in these years.

With the time goes by, the average house price in two cities (New York and London) had largely increased. From the year 1990 to 1995, the average house price of New York decreased 5%, however after several year in 2002, the average price increased to 5%. The average price in London had grown the most which changed from decrease over 5% in 1990 to 1995 to increase over 10% in the year 1996 to 2002. The house price in Tokyo dropped slightly in the year 1996 to 2002, and it was also the only cities whose house price still decrease.

In two cities, Madrid and Frankfurt, the average house price had keep increased, and in Madrid the house price grew faster after the year 1990 to 1995 (but still lower than 5%), while the figure for Frankfurt was lower, which increased only 1% between 1996 and 2002.
