The bar chart below shows the numbers of men and women attending various evening courses at an adult education centre in the year 2009. The pie chart gives information about the ages of these course participants.
Given are the bar chart contrasting the figure of people taking part in various evening courses at an adult education centre as well as the pie chart depicting the percentage of five age groups attending these courses in 2009.
It is perceptibly, the volume of female participate in language, painting and drama are higher than male except sculpture. The number of old people who were the over- 50s accounted for by far the highest percentage in the education center.
In term of the students enrolment in evening course, females doubled their opposite sex in size in drama and language with 20 and 40 in sequence, while the opposite was true with the man in sculpture with 5 people. The painting course attracted around 25 men; however, this number was still lower than female with 5 attenders.
According to the proportion of attenders age groups, the over-50s accounted for by far the highest percentage with 42%. Meanwhile, the group of age from 40 to 49 and 30 to 39 were 26% for the former and 16% for the latter. The proportion of the 20 to 29 and under 20s accounted for 11% and 5% in sequence.
