The charts illustrate the percentages of males and females with different age groups, living alone in England and how many bedrooms they possessed in 2011.
Overall, more English women did not like living with their family members in comparison with English men. Additionally, a three-bedroom household was the most favorite choice in both genders to live alone.
According to the bar chart, there were roughly 53% of females tended to live alone in contrast to about 47% of males in all ages. It is noticeable that the number of English men lived without family from 25 to 49 years old were significantly higher than that of women, with more than 60%. By contrast, over 70% aged women lived alone, which were two-fold higher than the figures for men (less than 30%). Moreover, the proportion of both males and females in the age of 50-64 liked living without partners experienced the same figure, at 50% each.
Looking at the pie chart, 35.4% of houses with three bedrooms which separate English people chose were the highest figure among five types. By contrast, there were only 1.4% of houses with five or more bedrooms chosen by both males and females. Households with two or four bedrooms were the second foremost option for both genders, accounted for 28% and 29.8% respectively.
