The given bar chart provides information about the ten highest producers and consumers of electricity around the world in the year 2014. The unit of measurement is in billion kWh.

Overall, it is clear that almost all the countries generated more electricity than the use with China leading the ranks followed by the United States and Korea, Republic being the last.

It clear that the first two countries are significantly ahead of all the other countries. Conversely, Germany is the only country that utilized more than it produced in that given year.
In details, China which ranked the highest generated 5398 billion kWh of electricity and utilized 5322 billion kWh. This is followed by the USA at 4099 billion kWh in production and had a reserve of 233 billion kWh and Russia tiered in 3rd place has an almost equal amount of production and consumption at 1057 billion kWh and 1038 billion kWh respectively.

However, the next ordered top five countries Japan, India, Canada, France and Brazil in descending order had similar patterns of less than 1000 billion kWh in production and consumption while Germany, on the other hand, placed at number nine used 64.1 billion kWh of electricity more than it generated. Lastly, Korea, Republic was ranked the least with generation at 485.1 billion kWh and consumption at 44.9 billion kWh.
