The supplied bar chart illustrates the comparision of the divorce rates between Sweden and Finland from 2011 to 2015.
Overall, the trend in dissolution of marriage varied over the span of five years given with Finland on an upward and Sweden in decline. Initially, Finland had a lower rate but in 2015 it outstripped Sweden.
As is observed, the percentage of divorce, which commenced at around 38%, was nearly 10% lower than the one in Sweden. Then it plunged in the subsequent year to hit the botttom by roughly a third. However, there was a steady growth over the next two years to peaked at well above 40%. The number in 2015, despite impressive rates, ended the year not much above the previous year level and then officially overtaking the position of Sweden.
In terms of the divorce rates in Sweden, the year 2011 began with a dramatic climb and reached the zenith at under 50% afterwards. Following that it saw a descending trend and finally stopped by 45% in 2014 before plummeting to bottom out at under two thirds at the end of the given time period.
