The bar chart shows the percentage of people who ate five portions of fruits and vegetables per day in UK from 2001 to 2008.

The given bar graph depicts a comparison between Men, Women, and children of the UK who ate 5 parts of fruits and vegetables daily between 2001 to 2008.
As we can clearly see from the graph that Men ate the most portions each year followed by women and children. initially, the graph showed only positive growth with but after the year 2006, some fluctuations were seen.
In 2001 more than 20% of men were having 5 parts of diet regularly which keep on increasing over the years and attained a peak value of almost 35% in the year 2006 after that percentage of men reduced by almost 4% in the year 2007 followed by a downfall of 2% more reaching to around 30% in the year 2008.
However, women and children showed no fluctuation till 2003 and stayed steady at 17% and 12% respectively after that, a steady increase in the proportion of women and children was noted. In the year about 27% of women were following their diet which stayed as it is in the year 2007 followed by a decrease of 2% .children also showed a similar trend getting to their maximum at around 25% in 2007 but later reduced to below 25%
