Below is a map of the city of Brandfield. City planners have decided to build a new shopping mall for the area, and two sites, S1 and S2 have been proposed.
Summerize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make the comparisons where relevant.

The map shows two potential locations for a new shopping mall (S1 and S2) in Brandfield.

It is clear that S1 is in the north while S2 is located in the south-east. Additionally, S1 has an advantage of proximity to the housing estate and the city centre.

As S1 is situated between the housing estate and the city centre, it means that this site would be within easy reach of a large number of potential customers. The existing road and railway already pass near the planned location.

It is seen that the golf course and park occupies the west of Brandfield and the river passes through the centre of the city. However, neither of these features affect two proposed sites. S2 is also conveniently situated near the city centre and it borders on an industrial estate. It is relatively far from the housing estate, even though there are available road and railway which provide access to this site.
