The chart illustrating the USA’s typical meals' average nutritional which all led to certain health issue if consumed by high amount.
Overall, nutritional factors divided into three categories namely sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar, to display the average value of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. it is clear that people tend to use more sodium and saturated fat contained food at dinner (43% and 37% relatively) and added sugar consumption is maximized in snacks (42%). On the other hand, breakfast value is the lowest of all three nutrition (sodium 14%, saturated fat 16%, and added sugar 16%).
Furthermore, sodium content shows the smallest value in both breakfast and snacks (both 14%) yet a high amount contained at the dinner and the lunch, taking more than 72% together (dinner 43% and lunch 29%). Also, saturated fat content displaying relatively less difference in each meal, less than 21% between dinner and breakfast. Consuming added sugar data giving that people in the USA, eat food with less sugar in breakfast.
Additionally, dinner is the most unbalanced food because of a too high content of saturated fat (37%) and sodium (43%) and snack is the next unhealthy meal due to its highest amount of added sugar (42%).
