On the contrary, the changing rates in car theft and robbery had a similar trend. Car theft rates began with approximately 2,900 incidents in 2003 and then stayed at this relative figure until 2005. There was then some fluctuation from 2005 to 2011 and reached 2,800 incidents in 2012. According to the number of robberies rates, it started nearly 700 incidents and then fluctuated and ended up with the same figure in 2012 by 2003.
