Overall, the proportion of people who ate fast food decreased over the period shown in each of features (excepted the one or twice a month category). Noticeably, eating fast food everyday contained the lowest percentage of people in the USA, while people enjoyed fast food meal once a week has the highest figure.
In 2003, the proportion of people who went to fast food restaurants everyday was about 4%. The figure for several times a week and once a week were higher, at around 17% and 30% respectively. With 3% of people ate fast food everyday in 2006, compared to 20% of several times a week and 33% of once a week. A similar pattern could be found in 2013 although the rates among these categories more significantly.
The percentage of people who ate fast food throughout three different categories namely once or twice a month, a few times a year and never that felt in the period between 2003 and 2013. The figure for once or twice a month was 30%, compared with 13% of a few times a year and 5% of never. This is also case for these categories in 2006 and 2013 which show lower figures.
