The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate at fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.

The chart provides information on the numbers of fast food lovers in the US and how often they went to restaurants over a 10-year period. In general, it is plainly visible that more than a third of Americans attended the fast food places between 2003 and 2013, but the frequency of their preference gradually decreased.

Regarding to the percentage of people, it reached the highest point in 2006 and 2013, standing at 32% respectively. However, the rate diminished more than twice in this time-period showing a dramatic downward from once a week to once or twice per week considerably.

With respect to the smallest ratio, only a significant minority of fast food eaters, around 3 percent, have preferred restaurants every day from 2003 to 2013. Basically, almost a fifth ate snack in such places several times a week, and well over a tenth, almost 15%, attended a few times a year in the contrary of a tiny fraction of those who had never been there during the estimated time-period.
