Essay topics:

The chart below shows the number of classes taught per week by teachers in a school in Someland in the year 2013.

The line graph illustrates the number of pupils taught by four Someland teachers per week in 2013. Overall, it is clear that the students taught by Andrew and Darlene varied consistently during the whole year. Meanwhile, there are some slight shifts in the students of Belinda and Chris.

Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that Darlene’s pupils surged quickly between spring and summer, almost doubling over the two-week period. Then decreased substantially from 30 to nearly 19 students. However, classes taught by Andrew had around 25 students at the beginning but hit a low of 11 students in the summer week. Afterward, the number rose to 28 students and fell to 20 in winter.

Other two teachers Belinda and Chris got their classes going up and down sometimes in the four-week period. At first, the number of pupils went down slightly to 15 students. An upward trend was seen in Belinda and Chris’s pupils between the summer and autumn week. Chris’s pupils only increased by 1 student; meanwhile, the students of Belinda approximately doubled from 15 to 24 students at the same time.
