Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the proportion of teachers in gender group in 6 different schoolings in UK educational system in 2010.

Overall, the number of female teachers outnumbered males from nursery to university teaching. But the level of male and female teachers have different in change. While the percentage of female teachers was decreased gradually, the percentage of male teachers was increased remarkably.

Firstly, in nursery and primary school, there was a big different between two groups. Female teachers made up a large proportion in many times in comparison with male teachers. The highest rate of female teachers is 98% in nursery. It means the level of male teachers in these schooling periods was only 2%.

Secondly, the percentage of both gender groups did not change too much. In college, there was not difference between the proportion of male and female teachers. In university, the last type of educational setting in this report, male teachers reached the highest level at 70% and female teachers fell the lowest at 30%.
