The given bar chart illustrates the proportions of people who possessed further education qualifications in both genders amongst 5 nations in the year 2001.
Overall, the given countries, namely Japan, US, Switzerland, Britain, and Germany witnessed a disparity of patterns. Meanwhile, the statistics of males and females in Switzerland and Germany dominated the survey, respectively.
Initially, the figure for females in Germany shared the top position with that of the counterpart in Switzerland, at 5 percent under a half. Meanwhile, the remaining genders of each country were 10 percent lower than the higher one. Moving to the United States and Britain, the two nations had identical percentages of males, at over a third in each country. Besides, the statistics of females were 5 percent higher and 5 percent lower than the male ones, in the US and Britain, respectively.
The last country to mention is Japan, which had the lowest figures for both males and females, with the percentage of the former being 30 percent and the latter one being a quarter.
