The chart below shows the results of a survey about people's coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
The graph offers a breakdown of the survey findings revealing the sample’s opinion about buying or drinking coffee or tea in the last month in five towns in Australia.
Overall, the respondents from all cities but Adelaide went to a café to have a coffee or tea more often than they bought it fresh or instant. It is also noticeable that the residents of all listed towns preferred drinking fresh coffee the least. Besides, the largest percentage of citizens who preferred drinking coffee or tea out in a café was in Melbourne, while lovers of instant and fresh coffee mainly were in Hobart and Sydney.
Turning to details, we can see that by far the largest number of opinion poll participants (almost 63%) purchased drinks in cafes in Melbourne and Hobart, and Sydney. A slightly lower percentage can be observed in Sydney.
The number of the surveyed in Brisbane and Adelaide ranges from 55 to 50 percent, respectively.
As for instant or fresh coffee purchased, the former sort was mainly popular in Hobart (nearly 55%). Meanwhile, fresh one was the choice of Sydney's citizens, at about 44%. The least number of people bought fresh coffee in Brisbane and Adelaide (35% each).
