The column chart demonstrates the proportion of tea and coffee buying and consumption habits of five different city residents of Australia in the last 4 weeks.
Overall, it can be seen that peoples of four different cities preferred to go to café to have coffee or tea throughout the given time frame except for Adelaide. Also, it is evident that Hobart people love to go to café mostly while residents of Brisbane reluctant to buy fresh coffee for them in the last four weeks.
In Sydney, the percentage of city residents who went to a café was 61, while it was 64 in Melbourne, which was also the highest proportion among the five different given cities. Fifty-five percent of Brisbane’s residents choose a café shop to drink coffee or tea while it dropped down to 50% in Adelaide, which was the least consumption percentage in comparison with all the other given residents of Australia. Finally, it is clear that the same proportion of Hobart residents loves to go to a coffee shop in Melbourne.
There was a contrasting trend for buying fresh or instant coffee among the residents of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in the last four weeks. In Sydney, 45% of city residents bought instant coffee for consumption while it was slightly higher for Melbourne residents. But, 10% more people prone to buy instant coffee in comparison with the above two cities in Australia. However, the least number of people in Brisbane reluctant to buy fresh coffee, while around 44% of people in Sydney love to consume fresh coffee in the last four weeks. Besides, a greater number of people of Hobart city preferred to buy instant coffee than the residents of Brisbane as well as Adelaide. Similarly, the proportion of residents who bought fresh coffee was higher for Hobart city residents while it was 34% for both the residents of Brisbane and Adelaide in Australia.
