The bar chart compares the the proportion of female and male teachers in different educational levels in UK in the year of 2010.

Overall, the rate of female who were teachers topped the list in all types of educational setting, except in university while the percentage of men who were university teachers was among the least in the finding provided.

Look at the bar chart for more detail, we can see that the rate of female teachers in Nursery/Pre-school hold the lion’s share, at 92% -97%, which was over 85% higher than that of men. Nevertheless, there was a relatively similar trend observed in the percentage of female teachers in Secondary school, College, and Private training institute, at 55%, 50%, and 45%, respectively. This trend was also seen in the rate of female teachers in the same types of educational levels.

The striking feature was the proportion of male teachers in university. It took the lead at 65%, which was 35% higher than that of women.
