The bar chart gives information about the distribution of workforce in seven different majors in two years, 2003 and 2013.
Overall, while the business accounted for the highest percentage of working population in both 2003 and 2013, the unemployed was the smallest group at the same years. Besides, the figures of the engineering, medical and self-employed increased from 2003 to 2013, whereas the remaining groups had decreasing trends.
In 2003, roughly 16% of workforce participated in the engineering, compared to approximately 18% of the medical. After 10 years, in 2013, the workers in the engineering and medical witnessed increasing trends to nearly 17% and above 25%, respectively. Likewise, the proportion of working population of the self-employed group also increased from exactly 10% in 2003 to precisely 15% in 2013.
In contrast, the figures of the business dropped from exactly 30% in 2003 to about 26% in 2013, while that of the hospitality also decreased from around 9% to 7% at the same years. Additionally, the percentage of workers who took part in the education was 12% in 2003, which was higher than that of the unemployed, at 5%. Two these categories also decreased by 7% and 2% in 2013.
