Given is the bar chart illustrating certain striking differences among the UK's expenditure on public vehicle measured in pounds per week in 2003, which was divided into 3 categories: Rail, Bus and Taxis. Overall, rail and taxis's spending experienced reduction through 5 stages of age. Additionally, all these 3 public transports saw the least spending at the age of 75 and over.
In terms of taxis and rail's spending, the amount of money considerably went down through 5 stages of ages. The group of age under 30 spent the largest amount of money (6,5 pound) to taxis service. Then this amount marginally fell to 6,4 pound in group of age 30-50, which was 4 fold higher than that of group 75 and over (1,7 pound). This volume of money stood at the bottom with 1,7 pound at the group of 75 and over. Aside from that, rail's expenditure accounted for the highest amount of money (3,7 pound) at the group under 30, which was five times more than that of the group 65-75 (0,7 pound). People in UK who are 75 and over spent the least (0,4 pound), which was only one-sixth compared to the spending of the age 30-50 ( 2,4 pound).
In terms of bus's expenditure, people at the age of 30-50 spent the highest amount of money (1,8 pound), followed by the group under 30 with 1,6 pound, which was 2 times higher than that of the age 65-75 did. The volume of money spent on public vehicles by the group of people at 75 and over stood at the bottom with 0,7 pound, which was only one-third compared to the group of 50-65.
