The Charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much.
The pie charts illustrate the average amount of three kinds of nutrients in four meals of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Overall, sodium and saturated fat nutrients rank the highest amount in dinner meals. Besides, added sugar is seen by maximum measure (quantity) in snacks.// Overall, it seems as if Breakfast and Lunch are healthier than Snacks and Dinner in an average American eating habits./ eating life-style
As mentioned above, Breakfast and Lunch comparing to other meals manifest to be healthier. Regarding Breakfast, an average American consumes 14% Sodium and 16% Saturated fat and Added Sugar, each. Furthermore, Lunch constitutes 29% Sodium, 26% Saturated fat and 19 percent added sugar. As can be seen, There is a little difference between breakfast nutrients amount while lunch`s is in range of 2-10 quantity.
