The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much

The chart provides information about the percentage of sodium, saturated fat, and sugar in four different types of regular meals, which can be dangerous to human health if consumed heavily.

Overall, it can be seen that dinner contains the highest percentage of sodium and saturated fat, while added sugar is mostly found in snacks. However, the lowest percentage of nutrients is found in breakfast.

In detail, 43 percent of the total sodium is accounted for by dinner, while lunch covers 29 per cent, which is 14 per cent lower than dinner. Furthermore, breakfast and snacks contain the same amount of sodium, 14%. Similarly, in terms of saturated fat, dinner covers the highest fat percentage with 37%, which is 11% higher than lunch. Snacks accounted for 21%, which is 6% lower than lunch. The lowest percentage of fat is seen in breakfast, at 15%, which is just half the percentage for dinner.

On the other hand, added sugar has a different pattern than sodium and fat. Snacks have the highest percentage of sugar (42%), which is double the amount found in dinner. Lunch covers 19 percent of sugar, which is 3% higher than breakfast. The least amount of sugar is found in breakfast, at only 16%, which is similar to saturated fat.
