The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six areas of the world.

The pie charts illustrate the amount of water used for industrial, agricultural, and domestic plans in different areas of the world. It should be noted that the rate of water used in these fields is varied among regions.

First of all, the percentage of industrial use of water shows that in Europe with 53% has the highest industrial usage of water. Also, North America with 48% is the second area with a high rate of water used. Furthermore, the lowest amount of water used for industrial goals belongs to Central Asia with only 5%.

Second, the amount of water used for agricultural tasks is significant in all areas. In fact, agricultural usage of water has the highest place among purposes in different regions except in Europe and North America. Asia with 88% and Africa with 84% have the most rate of water usage among other areas.

Third, the charts show that the domestic use of water in South America is more significant than other areas with the usage rate of 19%. Moreover, Central and South East Asia have the lowest percentage of water used in the domestic field with only 7%.

In general, the amount of water used for industrial, agricultural, and domestic goals is various in different areas of the world.
