The pie charts illustrate the rate of British students who know how to speak another language besides English in 2000 and 2010. The information shows that the number of students with different language knowledge is different in these two years.

First of all, the information about the year 2000 indicates that 30% of students can speak Spanish in addition to English. Also, 15% of them know French, and 10 % know how to use German. It should be noted that 15% of British students speak another language except the Spanish, French, and German. Additionally, 10% of them speak two other languages besides English. Furthermore, 20% of British students do not know any other foreign languages.

Second, the information about the year 2010 shows that the rate of British students knowing Spanish is increased and it is 35% this year. Also, 10% of students can speak French, which is decreased in comparison to 2000. Additionally, 10% of students can use German, which is as same as the year 2000. 20% of students know another language except for the mentioned ones, and 15% of them can speak two other languages in addition to English. It should be pointed out that only 10% of students can not speak a foreign language.

In general, the information about these two years shows that most of the students can speak Spanish. Moreover, the number of students who can only use and talk English is decreased.
