Overall, the pie charts reveals an increase in the amount of students speaking a foreign language over the ten years , from 10% in 2000 to 20% in 2010.During both 2000 and 2010 , Spanish ramained the most widely spoken second language at the university in question, rising in popularity from 30% to 35% .

However , the percentage of French speakers decreased by 5% in 2010 , while the amount of german speakers ramained the same as in 2000 of 10%.

The data shows students opting for alternative languages to French and German , with Spanish and other languages accouting for an 10% increase in popularity among students.
