As can be clearly observed from the first chart, there are seven different reasons for which adults decide to continue their study. Interest in subject and to gain qualification are placed as the top popular reasons, 40% and 38%, respectively. Followed by 22% of people who think their study is helpful for current job. The same percentage of adults decide to study due to either to improve prospects of promotion or enjoy learning/studying which is 20%. To be able to change jobs and to meet people are other causes by 12% and 8% in a row.
Turning to the pie chart, while most people propose individual costs for course by 40%, 35% of education expenditures should be funded by employers. The remaining 25% belongs to taxpayers.
Overall, it is clear from the charts that whereas about 60% of adults continue their study because of their interest or enjoying, job-related reasons contribute to 54%. Meanwhile, tax has the minimum share of education costs, while adults think of providing costs with their own incomes.
