The given bar graph demonstrates different in prices of house in five big metropolitan cities during period 1990-1995 and 1996-2002. The cities consist of New York, Madrid, Tokyo, Frankfurt and London. It is clearly that there are two trends, upward and downward trend.
First, New York and London hose had negative pricing during 1990-1995. But in the next 6 years, trend had been changed in to positive where the value of house in New York and London had increased at 5, 12 percent respectively.
Second, Madrid and Tokyo real estate value were completely different, Madrid house had been 2 percent more expensive during 1990-1995, and it had still increased at double rate during 1996-2002.
While, Tokyo house had been in negative value in 12 years period which was around 5-7 percent. Whereas, Frankfurt real estate price had not been changing significantly during 12 years, the value was running around only plus 2-3 percent.
