The charts give information about the tuition fee which students have to pay by genders and the proportion of degree and diploma qualifications in tertiary education in Singapore between 2000 and 2012.

Overall, the expense on school which was spent by the male students was higher than that of the female ones during the 2000-2012 period. In addition, the percentage of diploma qualifications was higher than that of degree qualifications.

In 2000, nearly 10 million dollars of tuition expenditure was contributed by boys, which was higher than that of girls, at only roughly 7 million dollars. After 4 years, boys spent exactly 20 million dollars on their school compared to around 12 million dollars of girls. The increasing trend consistently continued to 2012, when the amount of school expenditure reached over 30 million dollars for males and exactly 20 million dollars for females.

In terms of the proportion of qualifications by distinct types, while Singapore had only 27% of qualifications was degree in 2000, the percentage of diploma was 73%. After 12 years, the figure of degree in Singapore had an increase to 32%, which was still lower than that of diploma, at 68%.
