The diagram illustrates a process of the production of leather products. Different steps are involved for the production of leather goods which starts from animal skin drying to final product release.
Firstly, animal skins are dried and then transported to the factory. In the factory, dried skins are washed in lime water. After that, it again soaked in lime only. Next, lime soaked skins are flattened in flattening machine. After flattening process, the skins are again soaked in water which contains enzyme called tanin.
The last step of skin processing involves with polishing. During this step, the skins which are soaked in tanin containing water is polished, and then this polished skin is transported to the factory where different leather products, like shoes, leather bags, balls, and other leather equipments are made.
