The picture below represents the procedure of producing olive oil as a part of its supply chain.

Overall, seven stages exist in the step-by-step process of turning ripe olive into olive oil until it reaches end-users hands.

First of all, the mature olives are picked by farmers, which is the only part involving workers. The harvests are then taken to the rinsing machine to be washed by cold water and moved to the smashing step to becoming grinds. This transportation is done by a conveying belt. From now on, the procedure will proceed automatically and without human intervention. Afterward, stones are separated from smashed olive to provide paste.

The paste is then poured into perforated bags to be pressed. Finally, the excess water is removed and the final olive oil product is transferred to the stores for packaging and delivery to customers.
