The diagrams illustrates the production of cement and how concrete for building purposes is produced from cement.

Overall, the cement production involves many complex stages and requires different equipments while the concrete making has two simple stage.

In the first diagram, limestone and clay are added into a industrial crusher and the produced powder is channelled into a mixer. The powder is then passed through a rotating heater where heat is provided constantly and the raw cement is formed. In the subsequent step, the raw product go through a grinder to create industrial cement. The cement is then packed and delivered to retailers.

In the second diagram, the concrete for building purpose requires 2 steps. First, 15% cement, 10% water, 25% sand and 50% small stones are mixed in a concrete mixer machine and the machine rotates fast to have the ingredients mixed together to create the concrete.
