The diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the process and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

The diagram illustrates the process of cement making and then how it is used to produce concrete for construction sites.

At the very first stage, limestone and clay both put into the crusher to form the powder. Then the powder has mixed and further goes to the rotating heater where heat is provided to the mixture. After that mixture comes out of the heater and then it is further put in the grinder to form final cement. Then the formed cement is packed into the bags.

After first stage, concrete is produced from the cement made in first stage. Firstly, 15% of cement is combined with 10% of water, a quarter of sand and half of the total small stones in the concrete mixer. After mixing for few minutes the final product concrete is ready for use.

Overall, limestone and clay are the main ingredients to make cement and after that concrete from the cement. All the steps are mandatory for the production of building material by using different apparatus.
