The diagram shows the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagrams illustrate how the West Park Secondary School transformed from 1950 to 2010.
In 1950, towards the north of this area was the main road. There were some houses located in the west of this building. Moreover, a farmland area was seen on the southwest side of this building. Besides, the playground was situated on the southeast corner. Finally, school lied in the east of this building.
This park witnessed several changes in 1980. Noticeably, the areas for houses were demolished to build car park and science block in there. Meanwhile, school which was considered as the main building of this park stayed the same in 1980. Furthermore, the playground still existed without any change in location or size. Another thing to add is that, in this year the farmland made way for the sports field.
In 2010, many more changes were observed. To be more specific, the car park situated in the west of this building was enlarged on the original site of the sports field. That means the southeastern playground area was reduced in size to construct the sports field nearby.
Overall, the West Part Secondary School underwent a dramatic transformation over the period between 1950 and 2010.
