The diagrams below are existing and proposed floor plans for the redevelopment of an art gallery.
The diagrams show information on the blurprints of the floor for the new development of an art gallery.
It is clear from the diagrams that the entrance is relocated to a new position. Many rooms inside the art gallery are divided or merged as well as having their functions changed.
In the existing plan, the entrance is located in the East of the building but it is relocated to the North of the gallery facing the parkinson court. The entrance in the proposed plan leads to the permanent exhibition space, which is enlarged after merging with two other rooms in the existing plan.
In the existing plan, the lobby and office rooms have their functions changed into education area and store or plant area in the proposed plan. Also, in the proposed plan, the building has a new area in the West that does not exist in the existing plan and this area is used to build special exhibition space and exhibition store.
