The diagrams below show the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.

The diagrams explain the process of cement production and concrete production with the help of cement to construct buildings.

Overall, the process of cement-making consists of 5 stages, beginning with raw materials (limestone and clay) and ending up with bags packing of cement. The making of concrete has 2 steps, starting with collecting ingredients (cement, water, sand and small stones) and the last process is a concrete mixer.

First of all, limestone and clay need to pick to serve as raw materials for cement manufacturing. After that, the limestone and clay need to pass on crusher, where it crushed and makes a fine powder. The powder then transferred to the mixer where it mixed and moved to a rotating heater where the powder will heat while rotating through the heating chamber. The heated powder is poured to grind, it will grind the powder and makes cement. At last, cement will be packaged with the bags.

The concrete manufacturing needs ingredients like 15% of cement, one in ten of water, a quarter of sand and half of gravel) and these ingredients need to pour to a concrete mixer with the same amount and their ingredient will mix and form a block of concrete.
