The chart illustrates the proportion of three types of fast food (hamburger, fish and chips, and Pizza) was consumed by income groups in England in the year 1990.
Overall, there were differences in the consumption of three types of fast food eaten by each group. However, people from low-income families consumed the least amount of junk food.
People in high income consumed 42% hamburger, which was higher than 19% and 17% of pizza and fish and chips respectively. Regarding average income citizens, hamburger accounted for nearly one-third diet, which was 7% higher than that of fish and chips. The figure for pizza was by far the lowest, just at 12%.
Fish and Chips provided 16% fast food rations of low-income population. Whereas, The amount of hamburger consumed by this class of people was 14%, which precisely doubled that of pizza.
