The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The first chart represents the purposes of energy consumption of an average Australian family while the second reveals the amount of carbon emission caused by this use.
As it can be seen from the first pie chart, the most amount of energy is consumed for heating. In the following pie chart, water heating is the primary cause of greenhouse gas emissions.
In an average Australian household, heating and water heating accounted for 42% and 32% of the total usage, respectively. The consumption of other appliances makes up merely 15%, and 7% is purposed for refrigeration whereas the percentage of using lighting and cooling is almost insignificant, adding up to only 6% of the total.
In contrast, water heating is responsible for a relatively high proportion of the amount of greenhouse gas emitted, comprising 32% of the total. The consumption of other appliances comes next with a total of 28%, which is double the usage of refrigeration (14%). It is noticeable that although heating constitutes by far the largest proportion of energy consumed, solely 15% of greenhouse gasses sent out are attributable to other heating needs. Likewise, 3% of emissions are caused by cooling and 8% of those are produced by lighting, even though the percentage of energy used is lesser.
