The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestation. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features.

The flow graph descibes the effect process caused by deforestation on the area.

Overall, there are four occurances of deforestation happen, and they lead to two main consequences which are flooding and less biodiversity.

The first occurance is that bulky logs from chopping off forests will compress the soil below them. Therefore, that soil becomes hard and 'baked', which is then unable to absord the rain water. As a result, the affected area will deal with flooding from excess rain water.

The other three possible events are top soil erosion, loss of micro-organisms feeding on waste, and increased drought. These issues are, respectfully, caused by fewer roots holding top soil, waste decreased by forest fires expansion, and less returning moisture to the air. All three problems then lead to the less of vegetation and more pioneer species that later cause the degrading of biodiversity.
