Overall, it can be seen from the graph that apartments were the most popular choice of residents in Liverpool, while terraced houses were the least common. In addition, people in London and Manchester shared the same highest numbers for semi-detached houses .
Turning to the detail, the proportion of people in Liverpool favoring apartments was nearly 60% compared with only just under 20% of Manchester, whereas the figure for London was approximately 29%.However, the highest point recorded in terraced houses was about 19% in London which was almost double the figure for Liverpool (9%) and Manchester (11%).
Regarding semi-detached houses, about 38% of the population in London and Manchester were interested in this housing model, whilst the lowest number examined in London( 18%.) Meanwhile, the proportions of residents preferring detached houses in Liverpool, London and Manchester were 15%, 25% and 37%, respectively.
