The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given graph and table illustrate about the water use in the globe by three sectors and two countries.

Overall, it can be seen that the consumption of water soared in all Agriculture, Domestic and Industrial areas. Another striking feature is that Demographic Republic of Congo used less water than Brazil.

In terms of Agriculture, the use of water stood at about 500km2 in 1900, from where its (water) requirement surged steadily to approximately 1200km2 in 1950. Following this year, there was a sharp swell in the demand, rocketing to 3000Km2 in 2000, which was the highest total of the term. In contrast, Industrial and Domestic sectors began at a nearly similar level of between 50km2 and 52km2 respectively. Interestingly, both of them remained stable for the first half of the period (1950). Despite being unaltered for a decade, Industrial use then witnessed a rapid growth to just over 1200km2 in 2000, whereas there was a steady rise in the water need for the Domestic purpose to finish the span at 400km2. Surprisingly, the Domestic usage of water was the least figure in the beginning and end of the span.

When it comes to the table, Congo was nowhere near as close as Brazil in the entire three categories like population (5.2 million vs 176 million), irrigated land (100km2 vs 26500km2) and per person (8m3 vs 359m3) correspondingly.
