The line graph highlights how much energy was consumed in the USA from 1980 and gives prediction until 2030.
In general, it clear from the graph that petrol and oil was the most source of energy consumed in 1980 and witnessed a significant increase until 2030. In contrast, the Nuclear, Solar/Wind, and hydropower was the least favorable oil fuel utilized even in the future.
Looking at the details, petrol and oil ranked the highest consumption of all fuels started with 35 quadrillion units in 1980, followed by gradual increase in the utilization till reach just above 40 quadrillion units in 2020. After that, the utilization will incline to reach the top 50 in 2030. Similarly, coal had the same trend, its consumption was 15 quadrillion units in 1980 and climbed to hit about 30 in 2030.
In contrast, nuclear, sun/ wind, and hydropower kept a small amount of consumption compared to other fuels approximately four quadrillion units in 1980. But they had different trends; the Nuclear slightly rose to 5 in 2030 while hydropower decreased slightly to hit around 3 in 2010. Finally, Solar and hydropower remain the same figure like it was in 1980
