The chart illustrates the sum of fuel used in terms of four countries with high demands, and predictions of oil consumption up to the year of 2030.

Overall, from 2009 to 2015, China and the Middle East had their sales rate increased, whereas the Western Europe and Japan declined, and the US stayed the same. It is also predicted that daily oil consumption in the US and Western Europe and Japan will decrease sharply. Meanwhile, the figures of China and the Middle East will rise up significantly after 15 years.

In 2009, the US had the highest demand for fuel, where they consumed almost 10 million barrels every day. On the contrary, the Middle East and China only used under 2 million barrels. Also, less than 4 million barrels was used in Western Europe and Japan. After 6 years, the consumption of oil rose around to 2 million for the Middle East and 3 million barrels for China. However, for Western Europe and Japan, they considerable declined to the exact number of barrels that China had rose to, which was 3 million barrels a day in 2015. The amount of fuel the United States consumed stayed the same.

One the one hand, it is predicted the importance of fuel to the US will decrease in the next 15 years, which it could fell to approximately 4 million barrels. The same for Western Europe and Japan, it is also forecasted the favorable in using fuel could decrease about 1 million barrels. On the other hand, it is estimated that the Middle East and China will rise up in the consumption of oil, from under 2 million to 3 million in the period of 2009 and 2030 respectively.
