The line chart illustrates the number changed in three cohort, namely pulp, paper and timber, in a particular European nation from 1980 to 2000. The number of pulp presented steadily increased while the trends for paper and timber showed some fluctuations though both of them increased in different range.
In the year 1980, the pulp industry was the most productive industry, came top with around 5 million tones which followed by paper and timber with about 4.2 million tones and they mainly shared the same number. In the next coming years, the figure for pulp industry constantly increased and even share the same speed with one in parer in the second five years. At last, it ended up with 9 million tones which still the most among three cohorts.
When it comes to the timber industry, it is noticeable that the figure remarkably rose and exceeded other two counterparts in 1985, and then finally peaked at 10 million tones in 1990, after which it plummeted and became the minority in 2000. As for the data for paper, it continued to climbed though it mainly kept stable between 1990 to 1995 and increased again in the last five years, nearly reached 8 million tones.
Simply put, the production of these three industry have both experienced different range of increase.
