the line graph gives information about the amount of people who visited Caribbean island by two ways where people stayed on from the year 2010 to 2017, for 7 years.
overall, it is clear that the number of all the travelers who stayed on island are higher than those who stayed on cruise ships, except following 2 years, 2016 and 2017. also, one significant figure on visitors staying on island category had the highest record as much as 4 times at 1.5 millions of population over the period shown.
in the year 2010, nearly 0.7 millions of travelers stayed on cruise while who stayed on island are just around 0.3 millions, half amount of the former group. until the year 2015, more people choose the island to stay rather than cruise ships. especially in 2012 and 2013, the number of people increased quadrupled compared with those who stayed on ships. meanwhile, from 2013 to 2015, figure of the line graph indicated visitors stayed in island is plateaued, by contrast other group's figure constantly increased. from the year 2016, finally people prefer to stay on ships than land. is saw at 1.5 millions of visitors while people who likely to stay on land is at around 1.3 millions.
on the other hand, whole population of travelers to Caribbean island gradually showed upward trend through 7 years. there is more than threefold increase of population from the beginning to the end, only 1 million of people to 2.5 million of it respectively.
