The graph illustrates how many visitors came to a Caribbean island over the course of 8 years, starting from 2010.
Overall, looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that the amount of traveler in Caribben experienced an upward trend. Moreover, the number of tourists staying on cruise ships registered the highest figures.
In 2010, the number of travelers staying on island stood at 0.75 million and did not change in the following year. Meanwhile, there were 0.25 million of visitors staying on cruise ships, at which point increased to 0.5 million in 2011. The number of travelers staying on island saw a significant growth to 1.5 in 2015. After the figure of visitors staying on cruise ships fell slightly in 2012, this number considerably increased to 1.25 in 2015.
In 2015, the number of tourists staying on island declined marginally to 1.25, followed by the gradual rise to 1.5 in 2017. An opposite trend was witnessed in visitors staying on cruise ships, which climbed to 2.0 million at the end of the period. The total number of visitors reached a peak at 3.5 million visitors.
