The line graph demonstrates the number of visitors visited on the Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017. The scale is in millions of visitors.
Overall, it can be apparently observed that the number of tourists was increased throughout the period. In the initial year, people preferred to live on island which was overtaken by staying on a cruise ship at end of the period.
In the year 2010, around 0.7 million visitors took a visit to the island, and staying there remained steady till 2011. In two subsequent years visit to the island was spiked and reached 1.5 million tourists at a time. Afterward, there was no change witnessed in the next three years. However, in 2016, visitors decreased and accounted for 1.3 million and again it set back its original value of 1.5 million at the end of the year.
Moreover, people who favor staying on cruise ware negligible at the beginning which fluctuate in till 2013. Then, it was accelerated and most of the people preferred to stay on a cruise ships for the remaining years. In the end, it was overtaken by cruise ship and almost 2 million people love to live on a cruise ship, in 2017. In the initial year, total visitors recorded for 1 million which grew rapidly 3 times more in 7 years and in the end it claimed for 3.5 million
