The line graph provides a breakdown on how many tourists visited a particular Caribbean island over the period from 2010 to 2017.
A cursory at the graph is enough to make it clear that after the period shown, the number of visitors staying on cruise ships surpassed the figure for people visiting and staying on the island.
As can be seen from the diagram, there were nearly 0.25 million visitors staying on cruise ships when visiting this island. After this year, this number fluctuated between 0.25 million and 0.5 million till 2013. Then, it steadily increased to 2 million in 2018.
As the diagram suggest, roughly 0.75 million visitors staying on the island during the time dropping into in 20. The next year witnessed stability in the number of people staying on the island when visiting. Subsequently, this figure rose gradually to 1.5 million in 2013. After 2013, it stayed unchanged at this point in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, it decreased moderately, but recovered to climb to 1.5 million in 2017.
In addition, the figure for total visitors to this island showed a significant growth through the period from 2010 to 2015. Then, it underwent a stability between 2015 and 2-16. After that, it continued going up to 3.5 million in 2017.
Overall, the number of tourists visiting a Caribbean island staying both on land and on cruise ships showed an upward trend over a 17-year period from 2010.
