The line graph delineates how higher study in Canada was pursued by male and female students between 1992 and 2007.
Overall, the number of females graduated from university was significantly higher than their male counterpart. Though both male and female graduates experienced fluctuation over the period of time, in the year 2006, both genders culminated to the apogee.
According to the graph, female students were more likely to attend the university and graduated with flying colors, whereas males students were much less likely to pursue further studies . Total number of females graduated in 1992 was about 100 thousand,whereas the total number of males graduated in the same year was about 70 thousand. For both the genders, number of graduates rose till 1995, after when there was a gradual declination for both the genders.
Though, number fluctuated for both the gender, women experienced sharp rise after 2000, whereas men experienced substantially less increment in total number of graduates. In 2006, approximately 150 thousand female pupils graduated, outweighing male students , with slightly over 90 thousand students.
