The graph below shows the percentage of population in cities since 1970s with projection to 2030.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where revelant.

The line graph illustrates the changes in the proportion of the urban population in four different countries, namely the USA, Korea, China, and India in the 1970s and the prediction for 2030.

Overall, it can be seen that all four nations have exhibited an upswing trend during the last 40 years starting in 1970, and the projected figures will increase over the remaining years. Also noteworthy is the fact that the urban populations of the USA and Korea are significantly higher than in other countries.

In 1970, both the proportions of city dwellers in China and India were starting at 20%. Then, the number of these people sustained a period of stability for 20 years. After that, China experienced a dramatic increase of approximately 60% in 2010 and it will be almost 70 percent in 2030. Similarly, the percentage of Indians living in cities has increased rapidly over the last decade and will gradually reach a peak of nearly 40% at the end of the period.

Subsequently, starting at a nearly quadruple point compared with China and India in 1970, the number of Americans soared for 40 years, jumping to 90%. The same as the trend seen in the USA, but quite dramatic, starting at 40% in Korea, where the figure has rocketed to 85%, narrowing the gap between two nations. In 2030, the proportion of metropolitan citizens in Korea is predicted to equal that of the USA, at 90%, respectively.
